Most people who keep a few hens cannot say what one of them costs to feed for a week. Not because they are careless — because nobody ever hands them the arithmetic. That gap is the whole reason this book exists.

What we publish

SET-LEGAL-ENTITY publishes The Half-Feed Flock: nine printable files and a spreadsheet that work out what your own flock costs you, and then work out where that cost can come down without changing the birds, the feed brand, or anything else you would rather not change.

It is a book of sums and sheets. You fill it in with your own receipt, your own bag price and your own egg count, and what comes out is your number — not an average, and not ours.

How the figures were arrived at

- The worked year in 12 Hens in January is one real twelve-hen flock, followed month by month, with the closing figure for each month shown.

- Every figure that came from outside that ledger carries its source in the text, so you can check it rather than take our word.

- Where a saving depends on your prices rather than ours, the book says so on the page, not in a footnote.

What we do not claim. The method is designed to take about a sixth off the feed bill in the first thirty days, about half across June, July and August, and about a third over a year. That is one twelve-hen flock on our prices — not a promise about yours. Anyone selling you a guaranteed number for your own birds is guessing.

Only publish an author biography here if every sentence in it is literally true, and delete this heading and paragraph otherwise. A pen name on the cover is ordinary. A life story on the page that takes the money is a statement of fact about the seller.

How we make our money

Plainly, because it costs nothing to say: we sell the book for $27, which is an introductory price that later rises to $47. At the checkout you are offered two optional companion sets — one at $37 and one at $17. You can decline both and keep everything you paid for. Declining costs you nothing, changes nothing about your first order, and you will not be asked a second time.

There is no subscription anywhere, no login, no app, and nothing that renews.

If we get something wrong

A book of arithmetic can contain an error, and if this one does we would rather hear it than not. Write to contact@e-dreamsllc.com with the page and the figure. Corrections go into the next edition, and everyone who already bought it gets that edition free — the download link in your email always points at the current version.
