Privacy Policy

We sell one set of files. We ask for a name and an email address because we cannot deliver them otherwise. We also measure which advertising brought you here, and this page explains exactly how.
Who is responsible for your data
Controller: SET-LEGAL-ENTITY
Address: SET-REGISTERED-ADDRESS
Contact: contact@e-dreamsllc.com
What we collect
- Your name and email address, because you typed them at checkout. The email is where the download link goes.
- A record of what you bought — the product, the amount, the date, and the last four digits of the card as our payment processor reports it.
- Basic technical data your browser sends to any website: IP address, browser type and version, and the pages you opened here.
- Advertising identifiers — small random IDs stored in your browser that let us tell whether an advert led to a sale. They are listed under Cookies below.
We never see your card number. The full card details go straight to Stripe and are never transmitted to us or stored on our systems. We could not retrieve them if you asked.
Why we are allowed to hold it
- To perform our contract with you — delivering the files, answering your email, handling a refund.
- To meet a legal obligation — tax and accounting records of a sale.
- Our legitimate interest in keeping the site working and preventing fraudulent payments.
- Your consent, and only your consent, for marketing email and for all advertising measurement. You can withdraw it at any time.
Advertising measurement — what we share, and with whom
This is the part most privacy policies skate over, so it is set out plainly.
When you visit our pages, start a checkout, or buy something, we report that action to the advertising platforms we buy adverts from. We do this in two ways at once:
1. From your browser — a small script sends the event directly to the platform.
2. From our own server — we send the same event again, server to server, so that it still arrives if your browser blocks the first method.
Both copies carry the same identifier so the platform counts one action, not two.
What is included in that report
The following is sent to Meta, Google and Pinterest:
- The action you took — a page viewed, a checkout started, a purchase completed
- The amount and currency of a purchase
- Advertising cookie identifiers from your browser
- Your IP address and browser user agent
- Your email address and name, irreversibly hashed
About the hashing. Your email address and name are converted into a fixed-length code before they are sent. The platform compares that code against codes it already holds, which is how it recognises you as one of its users. This is still personal data, and we treat it as such. It is not anonymous, and we do not pretend it is.
We do not share your postal address, your card details, what you wrote to us in an email, or your name and email in readable form.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to anyone, for any price.
Who else touches your data
Only the companies we need to run the business, and only for that purpose:
- systeme.io — hosts this site, the checkout and our email list
- Stripe — takes the payment and holds the card data
- Google — Tag Manager, which loads our measurement scripts, and Google Ads
- Stape — hosts the server that sends our advertising events
- Meta — Facebook and Instagram advertising measurement
- Pinterest — Pinterest advertising measurement
Each is bound by a written agreement and may use your data only on our instructions.
Cookies
Cookies strictly necessary to the checkout load without asking, because the purchase cannot work otherwise. Everything in the advertising group loads only after you agree, and you can change your mind at any time.
Necessary cookies
- `__stripe_mid` — set by Stripe, for fraud prevention on the payment form
- `counter_start_time_*` — set by systeme.io, remembers where a countdown started
Advertising cookies
- `_fbp` — set by Meta, identifies your browser to Meta
- `_fbc` — set by Meta, records that you arrived from a Meta advert
- `_gcl_au` — set by Google, records that you arrived from a Google advert
- `_pin_unauth` — set by Pinterest, identifies your browser to Pinterest
- `_dcid` — set by Stape, links your browser to our server-side measurement
Server-side measurement, stated plainly
Some of our measurement happens on our own server rather than in your browser. This means browser settings and ad blockers may not stop it.
We treat it as requiring your consent exactly as if it happened in your browser. Moving the code to a server does not change what the data is or what it is for, and we do not use the technique to work around a choice you have made.
How long we keep it
- Purchase records: as long as tax law requires, typically seven years.
- Your email on the list: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
- Support emails: two years, then deleted.
- Advertising identifiers: up to 13 months, or until you withdraw consent, whichever is sooner. Once sent, each platform applies its own retention — Meta, Google and Pinterest each publish theirs.
Marketing email
If you bought from us, we may write to you about the files you own and about later editions. Every message has an unsubscribe link, one click ends it, and unsubscribing never affects your access to anything you paid for.
Where your data goes
Our service providers operate in the United States and the European Union, so your data may be processed outside your own country. Where it leaves the EU or the UK, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or another approved safeguard.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, tell us to stop using it, or object to advertising measurement specifically while continuing to use the site normally. Write to contact@e-dreamsllc.com and we will answer within thirty days.
If you are in the EU or the UK, the GDPR page sets out these rights in full, including your right to complain to a supervisory authority.
Children
This is a book about the cost of feeding hens. It is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If the change is significant and we hold your email address, we will tell you.
